College Board Will Not Offer An At-Home SAT
On the heels of the announcement that there will no longer be SAT Subject Tests or SAT with additional Essay, College Board has made it clear that there will not be a virtual option to take the SAT. In lieu of a virtual, at-home version, the New York Times reported that a digital version would be available in test centers, with a proctor present. This news comes as a disappointment to many students after College Board suggested in spring of 2020 there would be an at-home version available.
While a digital version will replace the physical paper version that decades of students have known, the test will still be administered at testing locations.
