BS/MD Breaking News!
This week included major news in the direct medical field, with us learning that both the Rice/Baylor Medical Scholars Program and the Boston University Seven-Year Liberal Arts/Medical Education Program have been canceled. Unfortunately, at this time, information has not been released regarding the reasons for the program’s cancellation.
What this means for our BS MD applicants:
With any BS/MD Program cancellation, the competition for the remaining open seats at other programs becomes more competitive. We have seen this happen previously, most recently with the program cancellations at Washington University and Northwestern University.
More News……Moon Prep is at capacity
On a more personal note, the Moon Prep BS/MD counselors are at capacity and will no longer be accepting seniors for the 2022-23 admissions cycle. Moon Prep has had a record year and many of our seniors secured their spots months (if not years) in advance. Our counselors are in high demand and only work with a limited number of students each cycle to ensure the quality of work.
Moon Prep has a team of experienced essay coaches who can help seniors stay on track and tackle their personal statement, supplemental essays, activity lists, resumes, and more. Essays consume a large part of the application work, with seniors often writing 50+ essays. We have an experienced team who can provide guidance over these essays, but these limited seats are likely to sell out in the immediate future as well.
