A Well-Rounded BS MD Program College List

Direct Medical Programs (also known as BS/MD, BA/MD, BS/DO and BA/DO) are often highly sought after because they can often be a high school student’s golden ticket into medical school. These ultra competitive programs allow students to simultaneously apply to an undergraduate school and its partnered medical school. If accepted into the direct medical program, the student must meet specific requirements as an undergraduate student to successfully matriculate into medical school.

With the competition for the limited seats available at direct medical programs only increasing in recent years, it’s a good idea to have a strategy when it comes to building your BS MD college list. When you search for lists of BS MD programs, it may seem as though there are dozens available and that students could easily apply to fifty programs. When you dig a little deeper and “apply search filters” you will quickly find that list narrowing itself down through residency preferences and entrance requirements.
