Alix is a college counselor at Moon Prep. She enjoys working one-on-one with her students to ensure the college application process is completed smoothly. Alix is experienced with the complexities of choosing a college and provides invaluable guidance in navigating the admissions process. She guides students to create balanced college lists, dynamic applications that stand out by highlighting students’ passions, and impactful personal statements. Each year, Alix works with BS/MD and traditional students to help them achieve their college admissions goals.
For the past ten years, Alix has served as the IB Trained Director of College Counseling at an elite International Baccalaureate boarding school in Florida. She provides PK3 – 12th-grade students with academic, career, and college guidance. She follows many constructive philosophies on a daily basis, one being that the advising process should enable students to make positive academic choices within the context of forward-thinking planning, where interests, possible career choices, and personal fulfillment are carefully considered.
Alix has a tremendous passion for the college counseling field, and it is her goal to help every student find a university that is a perfect match.
