Your Resume Makes Or Breaks Your Application
- It is essential to create a roadmap for your high school years. Strong student profiles are built over years, not months or weeks.
- Large accomplishments can be broken down into measurable tasks, monitored, and tracked.
- Start early, rise above your peers, and give yourself the ultimate competitive edge in the competitive admissions process.
- Every class is recorded, and students receive a link to replay and review afterward.
Before the Camp
- Students will receive an underclassmen checklist, eBooks, and templates.
- Students are asked to come to the first session with a resume template completed to the best of their ability. The objective is for students to be productive and build on this original resume from day one.
During the Camp
- Project iQ camp is live, online, and led by a team of experienced BS/MD college counselors who have had an early hand in guiding the most successful applicants.
- Classes are interactive, and students are encouraged to ask questions and participate.
- In addition to the live, weekly classes, each student will receive personalized guidance regarding their applications from their individual mentors.
- Students can expect reading assignments each week, which should not interfere with their school homework (less than 1 hour outside of the course timeframe).
What Students Will Accomplish
- Insights into how resumes for BS/MD applications differ from traditional college applications
- Understand what a BS/MD program is looking for in an applicant and how to use this to your advantage
- A roadmap and timeline for your high school years
- How to make the most community impact with your activities (trust us, your classmates are not doing this)
- How to turn your extended, professional resume into the Common App Activity list and effectively highlight your achievements with the limited word count allowed
- Learn which extracurricular activities you are currently involved in that should be dropped immediately
