As a mentor, Megan brings ten+ years of experience in higher education to provide coaching and guidance for students’ journey through the college application process. With a deep understanding of the world of higher education, Megan offers valuable insights on how to get started and succeed in her student’s college admission goals. Having spent two+ years in Academic Advising, she understands what admission readers are looking for. Megan takes a holistic approach to coaching and college planning, considering factors such as admissions requirements, financial aid, major selection, academic advising, career planning, and more.

Megan is a lifelong learner, which allows her to empathize with the challenges students face. Additionally, Megan studies other cultures to enhance her understanding of intersectionality and identity, enabling her to better address the unique needs and challenges of her students.

Megan’s education, professional background, and experience as an admissions reader have well-equipped her to guide students in creating memorable personal statements and essays. She has served in departments like admissions, enrollment services, financial aid, career services, academic advising, new student orientation, and the registrar’s office. Her most important and rewarding experiences were serving as an academic advisor and an admissions reader, giving her the mentoring skills and insight into what admissions teams are looking for.
