Bio:
An essay coach with Moon Prep, Linda offers an attentive and empathetic ear to help any student, no matter their background, academic status, or experiences, tell their story in the most powerful way possible. She listens deeply to her students to help them draw out unique aspects of their journey that will stand out to admissions committees. She works with students to not only edit their current essays but also to learn what admissions committees are looking for and how to craft powerful essays for any future applications they may have. She has a wealth of experience to draw from – including from her own successes applying for competitive BS/MD programs, early admission MD programs, MD-PhD programs, and dermatology residency programs, as well as reviewing undergraduate applications and interviewing medical school candidates – and is excited to share everything she has learned with her students.

Alongside her mentoring at Moon Prep, Linda is currently a dermatology resident at the University of Pennsylvania. While in high school, she applied to and was accepted to multiple prestigious BS/MD programs but ultimately chose to attend Yale University. While at Yale, she applied to and was accepted to the Mount Sinai School of Medicine FlexMed Early Admissions program before deciding to pursue an MD-PhD at the University of Pennsylvania. She has written hundreds of essays and interviewed at dozens of prestigious programs throughout this process. As a result, she knows exactly how to tackle any essay and how to stand out in any interview setting. She loves sharing what she’s learned with students to help them achieve their dreams.

Linda has experience working at all levels of BS and MD admissions. While at Yale, she was involved in reviewing applications from students interested in science degrees. While in medical school, she was an interviewer and advisor for pre-med undergraduates. She also has had experience working with students of all levels as a tutor for high school, college, and medical students.
