Bio:
Amanda is an essay coach dedicated to guiding aspiring undergraduate and BS/MD students on their journey to success. With a deep commitment to care, transparency, and attentive listening, Amanda’s approach as an essay coach is personalized, ensuring authenticity and passion are illustrated through every essay. Amanda believes that each essay is a journey, and she is ready to provide holistic support and guidance.

Outside of work with Moon Prep, Amanda serves as a college admissions consultant and a college cheer scout, roles that have allowed her to mentor a diverse group of prospective college students, as well as current undergraduate and graduate students. Amanda’s experiences in these roles have honed her ability to guide students in expressing their unique stories and aspirations, ensuring their applications reflect their true potential and commitment to their educational goals.

At the University of Pennsylvania, Amanda served as a Student Admissions Ambassador, guiding prospective students through the application process and representing the Penn GSE student body. She also worked as a Graduate Assistant at Wellness at Penn, promoting wellbeing initiatives and supporting student health. At The University of Texas at Austin, Amanda played a key role in various student support and leadership programs, including serving as a Peer Mentor and Events Assistant for Longhorns Together and as an Orientation Advisor, where she helped new students transition into university life.

Amanda also has experience in the entertainment industry, having interned at Sugar23 Entertainment Management, the Producers Guild of America, and Campfire Studios in Los Angeles. These roles involved working on advertising concepts for high-profile clients, researching industry trends, and assisting in production and post-production processes for major television series.
