SAT Is Making Significant Changes, Here’s What You Need To Know
The SAT is making significant changes by moving to officially being a fully digital test, according to an announcement from the College Board on Tuesday. While the test will still not be able to be taken at home, the test length will be drastically reduced and calculators will be allowed while taking the test. These changes were implemented in an effort to reduce the stress involved with sitting for these standardized tests.
The changes will take effect in 2024 in the United States and in 2023 outside of the U.S. The PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 8/9 will transfer to digital in 2023 and the PSAT 10 in 2024.
